Being a final year student of International fashion buisness at Raffles design international, Singapore, the third year has so far been the most educative for me.
From growing one step closer to becoming a freelancer and setting up my own brand ideas, the institution has been very motivating and plays a huge role in my development as a student of fashion.

Developing a brand of my own, has helped me grow a more professional and confident about the real world challenges of fashion marketing. I have also learned to keep in mind the concept of sustainability and it’s importance in the coming years.
Since 1995, over 270,000 Indian cotton farmers have committed suicide. Farmers have to bear the high cost of "Modern" farming using genetically modified seeds and inputs from synthetic farming, although their yields and returns are unreliable, causing them to be trapped in a vicious debt loop where they feel that taking their own life is their only escape. This year cotton prices in India declined by 20%, and nearly 70% of the 2,96,000 farmer suicides in India have taken place in the cotton belt.
The brand highlights fair trade carbon and vegan values that caters to a concern where the farmers are dying due to low credibility and zero wages.
The products are produced out of 100% organic cotton and does not involve the use of any GMO seeds or toxic chemicals. They make a difference and are not just solely for brand profit but also essentially for environmental benefits and changes.
A detail report of the same has been done for my subject “Future fashion innovators.”
