Hello there! Welcome back to Poise; Today, I'd like you to take a look at my overall attempt to present As a beginning point, consider "more sustainable fashion."
Despite the fashion industry's increasing interest in sustainability issues, there is currently no agreed-upon concept of what sustainable fashion is.
Clothing, shoes, and accessories that are made, sold, and used in the most sustainable way possible, taking into account both environmental and socioeconomic factors, are referred to as more sustainable fashion.
In practice, this entails ongoing efforts to enhance all stages of the product's life cycle, from design to raw material processing, manufacturing, transportation, storage, marketing, and final sale, as well as the product's use, reuse, repair, remake, and recycling.
The aim should be to mitigate any negative environmental effects of the product's life cycle from an environmental standpoint by:
Ensuring safe and careful use of natural resources.
At each point, renewable energy sources are chosen.
Maximising the product's and its components' repair, remake, reuse, and recycle.
I believe from a socioeconomic standpoint, all stakeholders should collaborate to strengthen current working conditions for field employees, factory workers, transportation chain workers, and store workers by adhering to good ethics, best practices, and international codes of conduct. Design companies can also help to foster more sustainable consumption habits, care and washing activities, and general attitudes toward fashion.
