Hey, lovelies!

This blog talks about my favorite styling assignment from my advanced diploma in fashion marketing and management.
The students of Fashion Marketing and Management had put together a team called team STAT that curated fashion events.
For the final project of Fashion Coordination and Promotion, we had planned to organise a fashion styling photoshoot in the last week of August tentatively between the 26th and the 31st.
For smooth management, we had divided the work among the group, based on everyone's individual strengths and weaknesses. Some of the different departments included Research, Logistics, Hair and Make-Up, etc.
Venue:
After researching and filtering through a number of venues, including The Habitat, Khar, and The Asian Paints Experience Studio, Bandra we finalized on WeWork, Marol based upon the ease of use, and versatility for different backgrounds for different themes for the photographs.
WeWork is a co-working space, that boasts impeccable interiors, conference rooms, and rest lounges. For our photoshoot, there were a number of locations that could be used for different photographs.

Designers:
The students of FMM, Drisha Singhania, Kanishka Tripathi, Vanshika Trivedi, and Hamza Ali also played the role of also stylists for the photoshoot.
The shoot included a photographer and the designers were be allowed to use the pictures post the event.
Models:
The models were outsourced, by contacting our friends and classmates to model for us and team STAT modelled as well.

Green Room:
At the decided venue, WeWork Marol a space was set up to be the green room. In the green room, there was space for the models to change and do their hair and makeup.
Technical:
We had arranged for a camera, lighting, and backdrop for the photoshoot. There were a number of projectors and inbuilt surround sound systems that were used to create drama. There are also display screens which were strategically located.
There was a lot of natural as well as indoor lighting at the venue but to create more drama and an element of awe we had rented a spotlight.
For editing the pictures, we had outsourced a professional editor, who gave the photos a boost and helped to remove blemishes while at the same time added a pop of color to stick to or theme “Classy with a Zing”.
Photography
We had one photographer who clicked pictures of all the models and the looks. There was also a photo editor who gave the photos a more professional look.
Sponsorship
We looked for sponsor hair and makeup to recreate iconic looks perfectly. We had shortlisted a few options and communicated with all to find the right fit. We are on the hunt for sponsors for the entire event.
